HoloCast 008: Theory of Evidence
On October 3, 2026, Germar Rudolf and Dave Gahary streamed the eighth episode of their “HoloCast” podcast. In this Episode 008, Rudolf explains the five types of evidence and their place in the hierarchy of evidence pertaining to each type’s reliability. logic, physical traces, documents, witness claims and party testimony. He then discusses Source Criticism as a tool to assess the reliability of a piece of evidence, looking into aspects such as authenticity, trustworthiness, ability to know, physical and technical possibility, internal and external consistency and independence. Finally, Rudolf addresses issues such as the importance of source criticism, the fact that it has been factually outlawed in the field of Holocaust studies, and what repercussions source criticism has had in that field of study.
